What we are

What is The Eco Conscious Voter Handbook ? It is a website that has public information about politicians and what they have said and done about ecological issues . From social media posts, press conferences, interviews , and rallies to bills they have sponsored, and Senate/House votes, all put in to a grading system .

Our goal is to make information easy and accessible so you can be confident in who you are voting for.

Where did this idea come from ? Like most things a conversation with my mother . While talking about the SAG-AFTRA strikes with my mom she mentioned the union worker voter endorsement pamphlets her dad used to get in the 90s, inspiring the idea to create a website to help people vote more Eco conscious.

How this works

Election season is often a very stressful time for most of us and trying to research who's the best candidate for the issues you care about often feels like a very daunting and stressful task so to help make things easier we have compiled the information you are seeking to make an eco-conscious decision. We take statements that politicians have made from conferences, rallies, and social media posts, bills they sponsored and voted all put it into our system to see who is the best candidate. Now how this works is that we take statements and actions and assign them points now our point system will vary from candidate to candidate as a politician who's been in office longer will have voted on more bills and thus will have more points to count in comparison to a person who has not been in office as long or one who has not yet been in office so our point system is personalized to each candidate to create a fair system. Statements have less points than actions do so if a politician said that they were going to back solar energy but instead of what they did is they voted in support of non-renewable energy they would lose more points for what they did versus gaining points for what they said. Now like previously stated some politicians have been in office for a very long time as much as we would love to list everything they've said and done that's just not feasible so along with the scoring of each person we will give you a highlight of the most prominent things they have said and. if you have any questions please feel free to contact us at
